As expected, Bodo/Glimt were defeated at the Emirates rather handily. Arteta started only three of the players who took the field to face Tottenham four days ago, but they combined well enough to make this a comfortable match. It may be tougher when we go to the Arctic Circle next week. It can't be helped; the squad needs to be rotated if we're not going to run players into the ground.
I am impressed with Fabio Vieira. He's still got some things he can improve on, but he's learning fast and has loads of talent. Matt Turner is a very good shot stopper and can command his area, but with the ball at his feet he's a liability. I love the quality and depth that Tomiyasu brings to the defense. He can play fullback or center back and he's pretty good. It was great to see Rob Holding get another goal. Tierney had a successful outing.
Liverpool will come to the Emirates on Sunday. I think we'll need to score at least three to get the W. I'm reasonably confident, but then I thought we'd beat Man U too.
