Everton very much needed the win, Manchester United had little to play for. I hope that no punitive actions will be taken against Viera for his loss of patience with Everton fans gone to excess harassing him.
Arsenal disposed of Everton 5-1, but lost to Newcastle, having had reasonable hopes of winning both. and this season is done. The Europa League lies ahead for Arsenal.
Actually, Man U had a lot to play for. Had West Ham won, they'd be in Europa and United would have been in Europa Conference. United backed in when Brighton beat West Ham. This was a decent season for Palace. We shall see if they can strengthen in the summer.

DeletePalace finishes 12th, with a positive goal difference, solid middle table. I call it a satisfying season. If they can get lucky and hold a few players and pick up one or two good ones they might slip into the top half of the league next year.
